The letters are slightly raised to enhance the words for a richer detailed look. This is wonderful piece to add to your porch, patio or entryway. This can be hung indoors or outdoors. This could even set on a shelf for display. There are four holes on the corners to secure this to the wall. No nails or hardware included.
